NAPD members provide new & reconditioned pallets for use both home and abroad, with a pallet repair service & wood waste disposal service. Some members offer packing cases.

Used / Reconditioned pallets are exempt from obligation under the Packaging Waste Regulations. With a saving of around 50% on new pallets and the time saved not completing the paperwork relating to PWR, it makes sense to purchase reconditioned pallets.

The NAPD has played a key role in the production of pallet quality standards in particular BS EN ISO 18613 – repair of flat wooden pallets, thus ensuring a safe and high quality product.

The NAPD carries out testing to ensure its member’s pallets meet the EU Heavy Metal Reduction Requirements and can provide customers with documentation to satisfy Trading Standard Authorities.

NAPD members can provide customers with first class technical advice on home and overseas pallet specifications & quarantine regulations through its membership of Palletlink.
